 I received my first tattoo in 2002, following a period of intense study of electional astrology (the art of using astrology to choose an auspicious time to begin an endeavor) and the planetary talismans of the renaissance era made famous by Marsilio Ficino. It was my belief at that time that the most effective talisman would be one that is tattooed on the body, so I chose the talisman I believed I would want to identify with for the rest of my life and astrologically elected a time to have it applied. |
